JEE Advanced 2026 Cutoff Released, Check Category-wise Marks

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has officially released the JEE Advanced 2026 Cutoff along with the result declaration on June 01, 2026. Candidates can now check category-wise qualifying marks and minimum percentage required for inclusion in the rank list.
JEE Advanced 2026 Cutoff Released; Check Category-wise Qualifying Marks as the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has announced the official qualifying cutoff for candidates appearing in the engineering entrance examination. The cutoff details were released along with the declaration of the JEE Advanced 2026 Result on June 01, 2026.
Candidates can now check the minimum marks required to qualify the examination as well as the marks needed for inclusion in the All India Rank (AIR) list. The official cutoff has been published on the website, jeeadv.ac.in.
JEE Advanced 2026 Cutoff Includes Subject-wise and Aggregate Marks
The JEE Advanced 2026 cutoff includes minimum qualifying marks in each subject and minimum aggregate marks required to obtain a rank in the examination. Candidates must satisfy both criteria to be declared qualified.
Those scoring above the prescribed cutoff have been assigned an All India Rank (AIR) and become eligible for the IIT admission counselling process conducted through JoSAA 2026.
JEE Advanced 2026 Category-wise Qualifying Marks
Candidates failing to secure the minimum marks in any subject or aggregate score have not been included in the rank list.
JEE Advanced 2026 Percentage Cutoff for Rank List Inclusion
Apart from marks, IIT Roorkee has also released the minimum percentage cutoff required for inclusion in the JEE Advanced 2026 rank list. These percentages vary according to reservation categories. Candidates can compare their performance using the official percentage criteria released by the examination authority.

The percentage cutoff is calculated based on overall marks obtained in the examination.

Along with the cutoff announcement, IIT Roorkee has also activated the JEE Advanced 2026 Result Link on the official website. Candidates can download their scorecards using their login credentials. To access the result, candidates need:
- JEE Advanced 2026 Roll Number
- Registered Mobile Number
- Date of Birth
The scorecard contains important details including:
- Subject-wise marks
- Aggregate marks
- All India Rank
- Qualifying status
- Category-wise rank details
Candidates are advised to keep multiple print copies of the scorecard for counselling and admission procedures.
JEE Advanced 2026 Exam Statistics and Qualified Candidates
IIT Roorkee has also released participation statistics for the examination session. A large number of candidates registered and appeared in the national-level engineering entrance examination conducted in May 2026. According to official data:
- Total registered candidates: 1,87,389
- Total appeared candidates: 1,79,694
- Total qualified candidates: 56,000
The final result was prepared based on the revised answer key after considering objections submitted against the provisional answer key.
JEE Advanced 2026 AIR 1 Topper and Female Topper
The examination authority has also released the JEE Advanced 2026 topper list along with the result declaration. Shubham Kumar from the IIT Delhi zone secured AIR 1 in the examination. Meanwhile, Arohi Deshpande emerged as the female topper by securing AIR 77.

JEE Advanced 2026 Counselling Process After Cutoff
Candidates who have successfully qualified the examination by securing marks above the official cutoff will now become eligible for the JoSAA 2026 counselling process. The counselling process will be conducted for admissions into IITs and other participating institutes.nDuring counselling, candidates will be required to complete:
- Online registration
- Choice filling
- Seat preference locking
- Document verification
- Fee payment
Seat allotment will be conducted based on All India Rank, reservation category, seat availability and candidate preferences.
IIT Roorkee Conducted JEE Advanced 2026 on May 17
The JEE Advanced 2026 examination was conducted by IIT Roorkee on May 17, 2026 in two papers covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The provisional answer key was released on May 25, 2026, while objections were accepted till May 26, 2026. The final answer key released by IIT Roorkee has been used for preparing the final result and cutoff. Candidates can now check detailed cutoff information and counselling updates through the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.
