The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened the NEET MDS Counselling 2026 Round 3 registration window following changes to the counselling schedule and qualifying cutoff. Eligible candidates can register online until October 27, 2026. Choice filling will remain available until October 28, while the Round 3 seat allotment result is scheduled for October 31. NEET MDS Counselling 2026 Round 3 Registration Dates

MCC has released an updated Round 3 schedule dated October 19, 2026. Registration and payment are scheduled from October 22 to October 27, followed by choice filling and locking. Candidates should follow the separate closing times for registration and fee payment.

Note: The deadlines follow MCC's published schedule and server time. Candidates should consult the official Round 3 schedule for any subsequent changes.

How to Apply for NEET MDS Counselling 2026

Eligible candidates can complete the registration process online through the MCC website. Those who have become eligible following the revised qualifying criteria should confirm their eligibility before proceeding.

1. Visit the official MCC MDS counselling portal.
2. Open the MDS counselling section and select the registration link.
3. Enter the required examination and personal details.
4. Complete the registration form and verify the information.
5. Pay the applicable counselling fee within the deadline.
6. Log in during the choice-filling window and select preferred colleges and specialisations.
7. Review the choices and lock them within the prescribed time.
8. Save the registration confirmation and submitted choices for reference.

Completing registration alone does not guarantee a seat. Allotment depends on applicable eligibility, merit, category, choices submitted and seat availability.

What Candidates Should Check Before Choice Filling

Candidates should review the latest seat matrix before submitting their preferences. College availability and seat status can change during counselling, so previously saved choices should not be assumed to reflect the latest vacancies.

Candidates should also ensure that their NEET MDS details and academic records are accurate. Keep the NEET MDS admit card, scorecard, BDS degree certificate, mark sheets, internship completion certificate and State Dental Council registration certificate ready for verification, along with any additional documents required by MCC or the allotted institute.

What Happens After NEET MDS Round 3 Registration

After registration, candidates must submit their college and course preferences during the choice-filling window. MCC is scheduled to process seat allotments from October 29 to 30 and announce the Round 3 result on October 31, 2026.

Candidates who receive an allotment should download their allotment letter and follow the institute reporting instructions between November 1 and 7. They must complete document verification and admission formalities within the specified period. Candidates should continue monitoring the MCC portal for result notices, seat matrix updates and any revised deadlines.
