BITS Pilani will conduct BITSAT 2026 Session 1 exam from 15 April in two shifts across two days. Candidates must carry admit card and ID proof. Authorities have issued strict exam day guidelines, dress code, and prohibited item instructions for candidates.

BITSAT 2026 Session 1 Exam Starts 15 April, Check Timings and Guidelines

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani will commence the BITSAT 2026 Session 1 exam from 15 April 2026. The examination will be conducted over two days in multiple shifts. Candidates can check their allotted exam date and shift details on the admit card.

 

BITSAT 2026 Session 1 Exam Timings and Shift Details

The BITSAT exam will be conducted in two shifts each day. Candidates must appear as per the schedule mentioned on their admit card. The shift timings are given below:

  • Shift 1: 9 AM to 12 PM
  • Shift 2: 2 PM to 5 PM

Candidates are required to report to the exam centre according to the reporting time mentioned on their hall ticket.

 

BITSAT Admit Card 2026 and Required Documents

Candidates appearing for the exam must carry essential documents for verification at the centre. Before reporting, candidates should ensure they have:

  • BITSAT 2026 admit card (revised hall ticket)
  • One valid photo ID proof

Without these documents, entry to the examination centre will not be permitted.

 

BITSAT 2026 Exam Day Guidelines and Instructions

Candidates must follow all instructions issued by the authorities to ensure a smooth examination process. Important guidelines include:

  • Follow instructions given by invigilators
  • Maintain silence in the exam hall
  • Do not communicate with other candidates
  • Read instructions carefully before starting the test
  • Do not open any other software or window during the exam
  • Avoid any unfair practices, as it may lead to disqualification

The authorities will provide an 8-page rough booklet for calculations. Candidates are not required to bring any paper for rough work.

 

BITSAT 2026 Dress Code and Prohibited Items

Candidates must adhere to the prescribed dress code and avoid carrying restricted items to the exam centre.

 

Dress code instructions:

  • Wear simple and plain clothing
  • Avoid outfits with multiple pockets
  • Prefer sandals, slippers, or simple shoes

Prohibited items include:

  • Electronic devices
  • Digital or analogue watches
  • Accessories and extra paper material

Strict compliance with these guidelines is mandatory for all candidates appearing in BITSAT 2026 Session 1.
