BITSAT 2026 April 16 exam is being conducted in two shifts at centres across the country. Thousands of candidates are appearing for the session 1 test. Entry rules and reporting guidelines are strictly enforced.
BITSAT 2026 April 16 Shift Timings and Reporting Schedule
The examination is scheduled in two shifts on April 16. Candidates must report according to the timing mentioned on their admit card. The detailed schedule for both shifts is provided below.
- Shift 1 Exam Timing: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Shift 2 Exam Timing: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
For shift 1, the entry gates open early for verification and seating arrangements.
- Gate Opening Time: 7:30 AM
- Gate Closing Time: 8:30 AM
Candidates are advised to reach the centre at least 30 minutes before gate closing to complete frisking and other formalities.
BITSAT 2026 April 16 Dress Code Guidelines
Candidates must follow the prescribed dress code to ensure smooth entry into the examination hall. Any deviation may lead to delays during security checks. The recommended and restricted items are listed below.
Recommended:
- Light-weight shirts or T-shirts
- Simple trousers or pants
- Open footwear such as slippers or sandals
Avoid:
- Full sleeve shirts with large buttons
- Jackets, hoodies, or sweaters (unless necessary)
- Jeans with multiple pockets
- Shoes with thick soles
Following these instructions helps maintain uniformity and security at the exam centres.
BITSAT 2026 Documents Required at Exam Centre
Candidates must carry all mandatory documents to gain entry into the examination hall. Failure to produce these documents will result in denial of entry. The list of required documents is given below.
- BITSAT 2026 Admit Card
- Valid Photo ID Proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID, driving licence, or school ID card
- Passport-size photograph
