BITS Pilani Launches BE-MBA Dual Degree, Pharma BE for 2026

BITS Pilani has introduced a 5-year BE-MBA dual degree and a BE in Pharmaceutical Engineering for the 2026–27 session. Admissions will be through BITSAT and vertical transfer, with no CAT, GRE, or GMAT required for MBA progression.

BITS Pilani Launches BE-MBA Dual Degree, Pharma Engineering Course for 2026–27 as the institute has introduced two new programmes for the upcoming academic session. The courses aim to combine engineering with management and emerging industry needs.

 

BITS Pilani BE-MBA Dual Degree Programme 2026 Details

The newly introduced 5-year (3+2) intercampus dual degree programme integrates engineering and management education. Students will pursue a Bachelor of Engineering for the first three years at BITS campuses.

 

The final two years will be completed at BITS School of Management (BITSoM), Mumbai, where students will undergo full-time MBA training. Upon completion, candidates will receive both BE and MBA degrees.

 

BITS Pilani BE Pharmaceutical Engineering Course 2026

BITS Pilani has also introduced a Bachelor of Engineering in Pharmaceutical Engineering. This programme focuses on combining engineering principles with pharmaceutical sciences. The course is designed to prepare students for roles in pharma, biotechnology, and healthcare industries.

 

BITS Pilani Admission Process 2026 and Eligibility

Admissions to the new programmes will be conducted through BITSAT 2026 under the direct mode. Additionally, a vertical transfer option is available for existing BE students at BITS Pilani. Students opting for vertical transfer must meet eligibility criteria and undergo a separate selection process.

 

BE-MBA Programme Eligibility Without CAT, GRE, GMAT

Students enrolled in the BE programme can progress to the MBA phase based on academic performance. Candidates who secure a minimum CGPA of 7.0 at the end of the second year will be eligible to enter the MBA phase. They will not be required to appear for CAT, GRE, or GMAT examinations.
