The Karnataka School Examinations and Assessments Board (KSEAB) has begun the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2026 from 18 March 2026. The first language papers were conducted today for over 9 lakh students appearing for the Karnataka 10th exams. Students must carry their SSLC hall ticket 2026 on all examination days. Examinations will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM, lasting 3 hours and 15 minutes, with the first 15 minutes allotted for reading the question paper. To facilitate student travel, the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is offering free bus travel on exam days to reach centres comfortably.
Karnataka SSLC Exam 2026 Time Table and Subjects
The SSLC Exam 2026 will continue across multiple subjects until 2 April 2026. The schedule is as follows:
- 18 March 2026 – First Language: Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, English, English (NCERT), Sanskrit
- 23 March 2026 – Science, Political Science, Hindustani Music, Carnatic Music
- 25 March 2026 – Second Language: English, Kannada
- 28 March 2026 – Mathematics, Sociology
- 30 March 2026 – Third Language: Hindi, Kannada, English, Persian, Arabic, Tulu, Urdu, Sanskrit, Konkani, NSQF subjects
- 30 March 2026 – Technical/Professional Subjects: Elements of Electrical Engineering IV, Elements of Mechanical Engineering II & IV, Engineering Graphics II, Elements of Electronics Engineering IV, Programming in ANSI 'C', Elements of Computer Science, Economics
- 2 April 2026 – Social Science
Students should verify subject and date carefully and reach exam centres on time.
