The Karnataka SSLC Exam 2026 has begun from March 18, with over 8.65 lakh students appearing across the state. The exams will continue till April 2, 2026.
The Karnataka SSLC Exam 2026 commenced on March 18, 2026, with more than 8.65 lakh students appearing for the Class 10 board examinations across the state. The exams are being conducted by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) at thousands of centres, ensuring smooth arrangements for students.
Over 8.65 Lakh Students Participate in Karnataka SSLC
According to official data, around 8,65,988 students have registered for the SSLC exams this year.
- Exams are being held across multiple centres statewide
- Students appeared for the First Language paper on Day 1
- Authorities have made extensive arrangements for smooth conduct
Government officials have also encouraged students to take exams without stress, highlighting opportunities for improvement if needed.
Karnataka SSLC Exam Schedule and Timings
As per the official timetable:
- Exam Dates: March 18 to April 2, 2026
- Exam Timing: 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM
- Reading Time: 15 minutes before writing
The exams are being conducted in a single morning session across the state.
Karnataka SSLC Strict Measures and Facilities
Authorities have implemented several measures to ensure a fair and smooth examination process:
- CCTV surveillance and monitoring at exam centres
- Deployment of invigilators and security personnel
- Restrictions on electronic devices
