CBSE Board Exams 2026 Postponed in Middle East for Classes 10 and 12 following a decision by the board due to the prevailing regional situation. The examinations scheduled on 02 March 2026 at affected international centres will not be conducted as planned. Revised dates will be announced after a review of conditions.

 

The decision has been taken by the Central Board of Secondary Education for its overseas examination centres.

 

CBSE Official Decision on Class 10 and 12 Exam Postponement

The board has formally informed affiliated schools that the examinations scheduled on 02 March 2026 for both Class 10 and Class 12 have been postponed in certain Middle East countries.

 

The postponement applies to CBSE-affiliated schools located in:

  • Bahrain
  • Iran
  • Kuwait
  • Oman
  • Qatar
  • Saudi Arabia
  • United Arab Emirates

The board has clarified that fresh examination dates will be announced later after reviewing the situation.

 

CBSE Review Schedule for Upcoming Board Exams Abroad

The board has stated that further decisions regarding upcoming examinations will be taken after monitoring developments. Authorities will reassess the situation on 03 March 2026.

 

Based on this review, CBSE will decide whether examinations scheduled from 05 March 2026 onwards can be conducted as planned or require additional changes.

 

Schools and students have been advised to stay alert for official notifications regarding revised schedules and instructions.

 

CBSE Board Exam Centres Outside India and Student Participation

CBSE conducts Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations across multiple international locations to support affiliated schools abroad. These overseas centres serve thousands of students studying in CBSE curriculum institutions outside India.

 

For the 2026 academic session, the board has established examination centres in more than 20 countries. A significant number of these centres are located in the Middle East, where a large population of Indian students appear for the board examinations each year.
