ICSE Class 10 Board Exam 2026 Begins from 17 February as the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) started examining centres nationwide. The board exams will continue till 30 March 2026. Nearly 2.6 lakh students are appearing this year. The examination is being held in pen-and-paper mode. Each theory paper carries 80 marks, while 20 marks are allotted for internal assessment. Students with at least 75% attendance are eligible to appear. The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to declare the ICSE Class 10 Result 2026 after completing the evaluation of answer sheets for all theory and internal assessment components.
ICSE Class 10 Exam 2026 Important Dates and Timings
The board has scheduled exams in morning shifts. Most papers begin at 11:00 AM, while selected subjects, such as Art papers, begin at 9:00 AM. Students must reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination. Below is the subject-wise schedule:

ICSE Board Exam 2026 Exam Day Guidelines
The Council has issued detailed instructions for candidates. Students must strictly follow all rules to avoid disqualification.
- Carry a physical copy of the ICSE Admit Card 2026 signed by the school principal. Digital copies will not be accepted.
- Wear proper school uniform.
- Do not carry mobile phones, calculators, tablets, or smartwatches.
- Use only blue or black ballpoint pens.
- Carry transparent water bottles and necessary stationery.
Candidates must write their Unique ID and subject on the answer booklet and sign in the space provided. They should write clearly, avoid scribbling, and use both sides of the answer sheet without leaving blank pages. The ICSE 10th Board Exam 2026 will continue as per schedule, and the Council is expected to announce the ICSE result 2026 after the evaluation process concludes.
