CBSE Clarifies 2026 Board Exams Not Cancelled in Middle East as concerns grew over a viral notice circulating online. The Board has confirmed that the claim is false and no cancellation order has been issued. Students appearing from overseas examination centres should continue following the existing schedule.

The clarification has been issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education amid confusion created by misinformation shared on social media.

A message widely shared online claimed that board examinations scheduled in the Middle East had been cancelled due to global security concerns. The viral document suggested that certain subject papers would not be conducted at examination centres in the region.

However, the Board has clearly stated that this notice is not authentic. No official circular announcing cancellation or postponement has been released. Students and parents have been advised not to rely on unofficial information.

As of now, the Board has not announced any special measures or revised schedule for candidates appearing from overseas centres.

What the Fake Circular Claimed About CBSE Board Exams 2026

The viral message suggested that specific examinations would not be conducted in the Middle East region. It mentioned the cancellation of selected papers for both secondary and senior secondary classes.

According to the circulated claims, the following examinations were reportedly affected:

  • Language papers for Class 10 and Class 12 are scheduled on February 28, 2026

Students appearing from international examination centres are advised to follow only official updates issued by the Board. The examination process continues as per the existing timetable.

Until any formal notification is released, all scheduled examinations will be conducted normally. Candidates must continue preparing according to the announced exam calendar and admit card instructions.

Accurate information remains essential for smooth conduct of examinations and timely participation by students across all centres, including those located outside India.
