CAT 2025 Countdown: Last 15 Days Strategy to Boost Your Score

With just 15 days remaining for CAT 2025, aspirants must shift focus from theory to targeted practice and revision. At this stage, consolidating concepts, revisiting formulas, and refining problem-solving strategies are more effective than starting new topics. Proper planning now can significantly enhance performance on November 30, 2025.

Check Your CAT Exam Slot and Center

The CAT 2025 Admit Card has been released, and candidates must verify their exam slot and center. CAT is conducted in three shifts—morning, afternoon, and evening. The morning session starts at eight thirty am, while the evening session begins at four thirty pm. Knowing your slot helps tailor practice and manage exam-day stress. Practicing mock tests in the exact slot time is highly recommended. This helps students simulate real exam conditions and improves time management skills for the two-hour test.

Focus on Revision and Important Formulas

The final two weeks should be dedicated to revising key formulas, shortcuts, and mental calculation techniques. Quick computation is crucial, as the exam provides an on-screen calculator and paper for rough work. Memorizing tables up to twenty, squares, cubes, square roots, and cube roots can save valuable minutes during the test. Candidates should also review important concepts in Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC). This ensures familiarity with question patterns and boosts confidence.

Practice DILR Sets Daily

The DILR section requires consistent practice. Aspirants should solve at least two to three sets every day in the last fortnight. Combining this with revision of QA and VARC problems allows for balanced preparation. Regular practice improves speed, accuracy, and analytical reasoning under timed conditions.

Solve Previous Years’ CAT Question Papers

Working through past CAT papers provides insights into question types, difficulty levels, and time management. Candidates can identify frequently asked questions and focus on their weaker areas. Solving these papers in a time-bound manner simulates exam conditions and highlights areas that need extra attention in the remaining days.
