Eligibility Criteria for VITEEE 2026
Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements:
- Must be an Indian resident, NRI, OCI, PIO or equivalent.
- Date of birth must be on or after 1 July 2004 to qualify.
- Should have passed or be appearing in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology from a recognised board.
- A minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for reserved categories) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in Class 12 is required.

VITEEE 2026 Application Process

VITEEE 2026 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The VITEEE 2026 exam will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The paper contains 125 multiple-choice questions from five sections:
- Physics – 35 questions
- Chemistry – 35 questions
- Mathematics/Biology – 40 questions
- Aptitude – 10 questions
- English – 5 questions
Each correct answer carries +4 marks, while 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect response. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
Slot Booking and Admit Card
After completing the registration, candidates must book their preferred exam date and slot through the online test booking system (OTBS). Slot booking is usually on a first-come, first-served basis in April 2026. The VITEEE 2026 admit card will be available for download 48 hours before the booked slot. Candidates must carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the exam centre.
VITEEE 2026 Result and Counselling
The result of VITEEE 2026 will be announced online in the second week of May 2026. Qualified candidates must participate in the counselling and seat allotment process, where seats are allocated based on rank, preferences, category and availability.
