The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited has launched its 2025 recruitment drive, announcing 447 vacancies for the posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical), Assistant Manager (HR&A), and Assistant Manager (F&A). The application window opened on November 27, 2025, and the last date to apply is December 29, 2025, 11:55 PM. Vacancies, Salary & Eligibility Criteria

WBSEDCL has provided a detailed breakdown of vacancies and eligibility for each role:

  • Junior Engineer (Electrical) Grade II — 401 posts
  • Assistant Manager (HR&A) — 20 posts
  • Assistant Manager (F&A) — 26 posts

Pay scale (ROPA-2020):

  • JE (Electrical): ₹36,800 – ₹1,06,700 per month
  • Assistant Manager (HR&A / F&A): ₹56,100 – ₹1,60,500 per month

Educational qualifications:

  • For JE (Electrical): A 3-year full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognised institute.
  • For Assistant Manager (HR&A): Graduate in any discipline plus full-time 2-year MBA (specialisation in Personnel Management/HR) or a UGC/AICTE-recognised PG Diploma in HR/Personnel Management.
  • For Assistant Manager (F&A): Graduate plus either CA/CMA (final) or a full-time 2-year MBA in Finance (or equivalent) from recognised institutes.

Age limit: 18 to 32 years (as on 01-01-2025) with applicable relaxations as per reservation norms.

 

Selection Process & Application Procedure

The selection process generally consists of a written examination, followed by an interview and document verification (DV) for shortlisted candidates.

  1. Visit WBSEDCL’s official website and go to the “Careers” tab.
  2. Click on “Apply Online” under Notification No. MPP/2025/04.
  3. Register with a valid email and mobile number, fill in personal, educational and domicile details, upload required documents, and submit.

Candidates are advised to double-check eligibility, keep scanned copies ready, and submit before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
