The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has opened the Assistant Professor Application Correction 2025 window for candidates who applied under the College Education Department. The correction and withdrawal facility will remain available from October 30 to November 5, 2025, allowing applicants to edit their submitted details online.
RPSC Application Edit and Withdrawal Dates Announced
As per the official statement, the Commission has given applicants a final chance to correct mistakes in their RPSC Assistant Professor application forms. The facility can be accessed through the RPSC portal or the SSO (Single Sign-On) portal. Candidates can edit their details during this period, but certain key fields such as name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, and photo cannot be changed. The RPSC Assistant Professor examination is scheduled to be conducted from December 1 to December 24, 2025, as per the official calendar.
RPSC Assistant Professor 2025 – Fees and Correction Process
Applicants who wish to make corrections will need to pay a correction fee of INR 500 through e-Mitra or online banking services. The process has been simplified to ensure candidates can make necessary changes without visiting the Commission office.
Steps to Edit the Application Form:
- Visit the official RPSC or SSO portal.
- Log in using the registration credentials.
- Open the “Recruitment Portal” under Citizen Apps.
- Select the relevant examination and click on “Edit Application.”
- Make the required corrections and submit after payment.

RPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 Details
Earlier, RPSC had cancelled the previous year’s recruitment and reissued a fresh notification this year for 574 vacancies in the College Education Department. Applications were accepted from September 20 to October 19, 2025. Among the announced vacancies, Geography, Hindi, and Political Science subjects recorded the highest number of posts. The revised recruitment also introduced new eligibility rules, including minimum marks criteria for applicants.
Action Against Incorrect Information
The Commission has warned that candidates providing false information or appearing without eligibility may face disqualification under Section 217 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Such candidates could also be debarred for one year from future examinations. In addition, candidates who remain absent in two RPSC exams during a financial year may face temporary suspension of their one-time registration facility, which will only be restored upon paying a fee of INR 750 or INR 1500 for repeated absences.
