JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result Declared; 12 Score 100

NTA has declared the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result on 16 February 2026. Twelve candidates secured a perfect 100 percentile, with Rajasthan recording the highest number of toppers.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result Declared as the National Testing Agency announced the January session scorecards on 16 February 2026. Candidates can now download their results from the official website. Along with the results, the agency has also published the final answer keys for the BE/BTech paper and confirmed details regarding dropped and revised questions.

 

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result and Scorecard Download Link

The result link is active on jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. Candidates must log in using their application number and date of birth to access their scorecards. The scorecard displays:

  • Percentile score in Physics
  • Percentile score in Chemistry
  • Percentile score in Mathematics
  • Overall aggregate percentile

Candidates are advised to download and retain a printed copy of the scorecard for future admission and counselling processes.

 

12 Candidates Secure 100 Percentile in January Session

A total of 12 candidates have secured a perfect 100 NTA percentile in the January session examination. Rajasthan recorded the highest number of toppers, with three candidates achieving the perfect score. The state-wise distribution of 100 percentile scorers is as follows:

  • Rajasthan – 3 candidates
  • Andhra Pradesh – 2 candidates
  • Delhi – 1 candidate
  • Bihar – 1 candidate
  • Odisha – 1 candidate
  • Haryana – 1 candidate
  • Maharashtra – 1 candidate
  • Gujarat – 1 candidate
  • Telangana – 1 candidate

The list of toppers has been released along with the scorecards.

 

JEE Main 2026 Final Answer Key and Dropped Questions

The agency has also released the final answer keys for the BE/BTech paper. Two versions of the answer key were uploaded on 16 February 2026 — one listing correct options and another indicating correct option IDs. As per the notification:

  • Nine questions have been dropped.
  • Four questions were found to have multiple correct answers.

Revised scoring has been applied accordingly while preparing the results.

 

Cut-Off and All India Rank to Be Announced Later

The National Testing Agency has clarified that the cut-off marks and All India Ranks (AIR) will not be included in the Session 1 result. These details will be announced after the completion of subsequent sessions of JEE Main 2026. Candidates qualifying in JEE Main will become eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2026, subject to meeting the prescribed criteria. Further updates regarding the April session application process and counselling schedule are expected soon on the official website.
