BCI has released the AIBE 21 Syllabus 2026 ahead of the exam scheduled on 07 June 2026. The exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions from core law subjects. Candidates must review the updated syllabus and subject-wise weightage carefully.

AIBE 21 Syllabus 2026 PDF Released, Exam on 07 June

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has published the AIBE 21 Syllabus 2026 for candidates appearing in the All India Bar Examination. The AIBE 21 exam will be conducted on 07 June 2026. The syllabus and exam date were announced through the official notification. The examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions designed to assess candidates’ understanding of core legal concepts and professional knowledge.

 

AIBE 21 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme 2026

The AIBE 21 question paper will cover major law subjects taught during the LL.B programme. Each subject carries a fixed weightage, contributing to the total 100 marks. The subject-wise distribution of marks is provided below:

  • Constitutional Law: 10 marks
  • Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) & Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita: 10 marks
  • Code of Civil Procedure (CPC): 10 marks
  • Indian Penal Code (IPC) & Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita: 8 marks
  • Law of Contract, Specific Relief, Property Law, Negotiable Instruments Act: 8 marks
  • Family Law: 8 marks
  • Evidence Act & Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam: 8 marks
  • Law of Tort, Motor Vehicles Act, Consumer Protection Law: 5 marks
  • Labour and Industrial Laws: 4 marks
  • Alternate Dispute Resolution including Arbitration Act: 4 marks
  • Law Related to Taxation: 4 marks
  • Public Interest Litigation (PIL): 4 marks
  • Professional Ethics and Cases of Professional Misconduct under BCI Rules: 4 marks
  • Administrative Law: 3 marks
  • Company Law: 2 marks
  • Environmental Law: 2 marks
  • Cyber Law: 2 marks
  • Land Acquisition Act: 2 marks
  • Intellectual Property Laws: 2 marks
  • Total Marks: 100

Candidates must prepare according to the revised legal framework, including references to newly introduced criminal laws.
