GSEB SSC HSC Exams 2026 Begin with CCTV, Police at Centres

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has begun Class 10 and 12 board exams for 15.27 lakh students. All 1,701 centres are equipped with CCTV cameras, and police personnel have been deployed to ensure a secure and fair examination environment.

The GSEB Class 10 and 12 board examinations 2026 commenced across Gujarat for more than 15.27 lakh students. Examination centres implemented strict monitoring measures to ensure a smooth and secure process. At several centres, students were welcomed according to Indian cultural traditions with sweets, roses, and stationery kits including pens and writing pads.

 

GSEB Board Exams 2026: Examination Centres and Student Attendance

A total of 1,701 examination centres have been set up across the state to accommodate all registered candidates. Students began their exams under carefully planned arrangements, ensuring both comfort and discipline. Special CCTV monitoring has been installed at all centres to prevent malpractice. Additionally, officers from the District Coordination Committee have been appointed as observers, and adequate police personnel are deployed to maintain law and order throughout the examination period.

 

Chief Minister and Education Minister’s Guidance in GSEB exams 2026

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel extended best wishes to students, urging them to approach the exams with confidence and dedication. In a post on X, he highlighted the importance of board examinations in shaping students’ future careers while preparing them for life’s challenges. Education Minister Dr Praduman Vaja visited Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul to motivate students and praised the government’s efforts in creating a free and fearless examination environment.

Students are advised to:

  • Utilize the resources and stationery provided at centres.
  • Follow all instructions and maintain decorum under supervision.
