Delhi University has opened Phase 2 registration of the CSAS UG 2026 admission process, allowing CUET UG 2026 qualified candidates to map subjects and fill programme-college preferences until July 11, 2026. Simulated ranks will be released on July 12, followed by a preference change window ahead of the first seat allocation list.
The University of Delhi CSAS UG 2026 Phase 2 preference filling window will close on July 11, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Candidates who have completed Phase 1 registration and qualified CUET UG 2026 can log in to the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal to map subjects, fill programme and college preferences, and lock their choices before the deadline.
DU CSAS UG 2026 Phase 2 Registration Overview
Delhi University officially opened Phase 2 registration on July 3, 2026, for the 2026-27 undergraduate academic session. During this stage, candidates must map the subjects they studied in Class 12 with the subjects they appeared for in CUET UG 2026, since a mismatch could render them ineligible for certain programmes. This year, the university is offering admission to 73 undergraduate programmes along with 150 BA programme combinations through the CSAS UG portal.
Correction Window and Simulated Rank Release
A correction window will remain open from July 10 to July 11, 2026, allowing candidates to make final edits to their submitted details before the registration phase closes. Following the closure of Phase 2, Delhi University will release Simulated Ranks on July 12, 2026, at 5 PM, giving candidates an indication of their likely position for each programme-college combination they have chosen.
Why Subject Mapping and Preference Order Matter?
Every list of programme-college combinations submitted on the CSAS portal must be arranged carefully, since Delhi University's allocation algorithm strictly follows the order in which choices are saved. Some of the key points candidates must keep in mind include:
- Subject eligibility: Admission to a programme requires that the candidate has appeared in the corresponding CUET UG 2026 subject.
- Preference order: Seat allocation is based on rank and the priority order of saved choices, not merely eligibility.
- One-time locking: Once Phase 2 closes on July 11, preferences cannot be modified except during the designated preference change window.
Candidates are strongly advised to preview all their choices before the deadline to avoid errors that could affect their allocation outcome.
