Key Notes for CSIR NET Candidates

The cut-off list has been prepared after evaluating overall scores. Candidates must note certain important details regarding the exam and the result.

  • No part-wise cut-off: Marks of Part A, B, and C are combined for the final evaluation.
  • Result date: The CSIR NET June 2025 result and cut-off were declared on 4 September 2025.
  • Merit list process: First, JRF ranks are allotted; later, fellowships are divided between CSIR and UGC as per the defined ratio.
  • PhD admission cut-off: These marks are lower than JRF and Assistant Professor thresholds, offering an additional pathway for candidates.

What This Means for CSIR NET Aspirants

The release of the CSIR NET June 2025 cut-off will help candidates assess their performance and eligibility. Those who meet the JRF cut-off will qualify for fellowship opportunities, while others clearing the Assistant Professor cut-off will remain eligible for teaching roles. The lower PhD admission cut-off ensures broader opportunities for research aspirants.
