The Andhra Pradesh Police Department has announced recruitment for 37 outsourcing posts in the 7th (IR) Battalion, APSP, Maddipadu, Prakasam District. The notification was issued on August 31, 2026.

The 37 vacancies are distributed across nine posts. Cooks have the highest number of vacancies with 14 posts, followed by Sweepers with eight posts.

AP Police Prakasam District Eligibility Criteria

The educational qualification varies according to the post. Candidates applying for the Record Assistant post should have passed Intermediate, while an SSC qualification is required for the Office Subordinate post.

For Sweeper, Scavenger and related posts, candidates should have passed Class 7 or should be able to read and write. Cooks, Dhobis and Barbers also require the relevant professional skill.

The prescribed age limit is 18 to 42 years as on July 1, 2026. Eligible SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates can receive five years of age relaxation, subject to the applicable rules.

Selected candidates for the notified outsourcing posts will receive a monthly remuneration of INR 15,000. The recruitment is on an outsourcing basis and does not constitute regular government service.
