NIT Delhi Recruitment 2026 for 3 Project Associate and Research Associate Posts

National Institute of Technology Delhi (NIT Delhi) has invited eligible candidates for a walk-in interview for Project Associate and Research Associate posts. The recruitment is being conducted under a DRDO-sponsored CARS project.

The recruitment drive aims to fill three temporary posts, including two Project Associate positions and one Research Associate position. Interested candidates can appear for the walk-in interview on September 11, 2026 at the NIT Delhi campus.

NIT Delhi Recruitment 2026 Eligibility

For the Project Associate post, candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering. Candidates with an M.Sc. in Electronics or Physics can also apply.

For the Research Associate post, candidates should have a PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Physics with a core research focus on antennas, RF or microwave engineering. Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis can also apply.

Knowledge of electromagnetics, antenna theory and RF circuits is desirable. Experience with EM simulation tools such as ANSYS HFSS and CST Microwave Studio will also be preferred.

NIT Delhi Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can appear directly for the walk-in interview. The expert panel's decision will be final. Selected candidates will be required to join immediately and work dedicatedly for successful completion of the project.

Candidates appearing for the walk-in interview should bring the duly filled application form, original certificates and mark sheets, attested photocopies of all documents and a recent passport-size photograph.

The interview will be held at Room No. 308, 3rd Floor, Admin Block, NIT Delhi, on September 11, 2026, from 1 PM. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
