WBCHSE Reopens Enrolment Portal for HS & Semester Exams 2026

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced that it will reopen the enrolment portal for the WB HS (Higher Secondary) 2026 board exam and Semester exams. This decision follows multiple requests from school authorities and guardians of students who missed the initial registration deadline. The portal reopening provides a short window for schools to complete enrolment formalities for eligible candidates, including regular, continuing and supplementary candidates.

WBCHSE Exam Revised Enrolment Window & Last Date to Apply

The WBCHSE will keep the enrolment portal open for a limited period as follows:

  • Enrolment Portal Reopen Date: 5 February 2026
  • Last Date to Submit Enrolment Forms: 7 February 2026

During this three‑day window, schools must upload and finalise candidate enrolment details and submit required fees. A fee of INR 2000 per candidate is applicable for enrolment submitted in this period.

Who Can Apply for WBCHSE Exam During the Reopened Window?

The reopened enrolment portal covers the following categories of students:

  • Candidates appearing for Semester‑IV examinations.
  • Students eligible for Semester‑III Supplementary exams.
  • Higher Secondary (HS) 2026 candidates under the Regular, CC and Special categories, including those under the old system.

This extension ensures that students who were previously unable to complete their enrolment can still register to sit for the board assessment.

WBCHSE Exam Important Notes for Schools and Students

School authorities are urged to complete the enrolment process within the reopened dates, as no late or subsequent requests will be entertained after 7 February 2026. Enrolment completion is mandatory for students to be eligible for the HS 2026 board exam and designated Semester examinations. Eligible students and school officials are advised to coordinate promptly to avoid missing this final enrollment opportunity.
