Key WBCHSE Exam Day Guidelines
The board has emphasised strict compliance with exam day protocols to ensure fairness and discipline. Candidates must adhere to the following instructions:
- Reporting Time: Students must reach the centre well before the scheduled start of the exam and follow the reporting deadlines outlined by WBCHSE.
- Security Checks: Mandatory CCTV surveillance has been introduced at all examination centres to improve monitoring.
- Frisking Protocols: Examinees will undergo frisking with metal detectors at entry points under the supervision of exam staff.
Exam halls will be opened one hour before the scheduled examination time. Depending on circumstances, late entry may be allowed within specified cut-off times, but no additional time will be granted for late arrivals.
WBCHSE Exam Safety and Conduct Measures
In addition to security screenings, the council has stressed that candidates must strictly follow behavioural norms. Prohibited items, including mobile phones and electronic gadgets, are not permitted inside exam venues. Any breach of conduct may result in disciplinary action as per WBCHSE rules. Students appearing for the WB HS 2026 examinations are advised to check their schedules, arrive early on exam days and adhere to all the guidelines issued by the board to avoid inconvenience.
