UPSC EPFO APFC Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 80 Posts, Exam Date

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for 80 Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) posts in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). The recruitment is being conducted under Special Advertisement No. 52/2026.

UPSC EPFO APFC Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must hold a degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification. A diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws or Public Administration is listed as a desirable qualification.

The upper age limit is 35 years for candidates under the general category. The upper age limit is 38 years for OBC candidates and 40 years for SC/ST candidates, subject to applicable rules.

UPSC EPFO APFC Application Fee

The application fee is INR 25 for eligible candidates required to pay the fee. Female candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwBD categories are exempted from payment.

UPSC EPFO APFC Selection Process

The selection process consists of a Recruitment Test followed by an Interview. The Recruitment Test will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode on December 20, 2026. The test carries 300 marks, while the interview carries 100 marks, with a 75:25 weightage in the final selection.
