PFRDA Assistant Manager Recruitment 2026, 30 Grade A Posts, Apply Online

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has released the PFRDA Assistant Manager Recruitment 2026 notification for Officer Grade ‘A’ posts. The recruitment covers General, Research, Actuary and Official Language (Rajbhasha) streams.

The online application process started on September 3, 2026, and eligible candidates can apply until September 24, 2026. The Phase I examination is scheduled for October 15, 2026.

The recruitment drive offers a total of 30 Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) posts across four streams. Candidates can check the major details below.

PFRDA Grade A Vacancy 2026

PFRDA has announced vacancies in General, Research, Actuary and Official Language streams. The General stream has the highest number of vacancies.

The General stream includes vacancies across SC, ST, OBC, EWS and UR categories. Candidates can apply for a maximum of two streams if they meet the respective educational requirements.

PFRDA Assistant Manager Eligibility 2026

The eligibility criteria differ according to the stream. Candidates must possess the required qualification by July 31, 2026.

For the General stream, candidates need a Master's degree or a postgraduate diploma of at least two years in any discipline, or a bachelor's degree in law or engineering. Professional qualifications such as ACA/FCA, ACS/FCS, ACMA/FCMA or CFA are also accepted.

For the Research stream, eligible qualifications include postgraduate degrees or diplomas in areas such as Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics and related disciplines.

For the Actuary stream, candidates need a graduation degree along with a pass or exemption in all seven Core Principles subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India.

For the Official Language stream, candidates need the specified postgraduate qualification in Hindi, Hindi Translation, Sanskrit, English, Economics or Commerce with the required language combination.

PFRDA Assistant Manager Age Limit 2026

Candidates must not have crossed 30 years of age as on July 31, 2026. Therefore, applicants should have been born on or after August 1, 1996.

Age relaxation is available for eligible reserved categories as per the recruitment rules. SC/ST candidates can receive up to five years of relaxation, while eligible OBC candidates can receive up to three years. Additional relaxation provisions apply to PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates.

PFRDA Assistant Manager Application Fee 2026

Candidates are required to pay the application fee while submitting the online form. The fee is non-refundable.

Candidates applying for more than one stream must submit a separate application and pay the applicable fee for each stream.

PFRDA Grade A Exam Pattern 2026

The PFRDA Assistant Manager selection process consists of three stages: Phase I, Phase II and Phase III Interview.

Phase I

Phase I will be conducted online on October 15, 2026. It consists of two papers.

• Paper 1: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General Awareness
• Paper 1: 100 marks, 90 questions and 60 minutes
• Paper 2: Stream-specific subjects
• Paper 2: 100 marks, 50 questions and 40 minutes
• Negative marking of one-fourth marks applies.

Phase I marks are used only for shortlisting candidates for Phase II and are not counted in the final selection.

Phase II and Interview

Phase II will be held on November 20, 2026. It includes a descriptive English paper and a stream-specific paper.

The final selection will be based on 85% weightage for Phase II and 15% weightage for the interview.

PFRDA Assistant Manager Salary 2026

Selected Officer Grade A candidates will receive a pay scale starting at INR 62,500. According to the notification, the approximate gross emoluments at the minimum of the scale are INR 2,05,000 per month, including applicable allowances and PFRDA's NPS contribution.

The selected candidates will also undergo a two-year probation period.
