Cummins India Limited has launched the 8th edition of REDEFINE 2025, its annual business school case study competition. The initiative aims to empower management students by engaging them in solving real-world challenges in the energy sector.
REDEFINE 2025: Theme
The theme for this year’s edition is: “From Backup to Backbone: Driving the Energy Shift.” This reflects the industry’s transformation led by renewables, decarbonization, and evolving customer expectations. Students will be tasked with designing innovative service models around renewable integration, energy solutions, and grid-connected systems to address sustainability goals.
Eligibility and Participation
- Open to first and second-year PGP/PGDM/PGDBM/MBA students
- Multiple rounds culminating in a grand finale at the Cummins India Office Campus, Pune
- Finale Date: November 13–14, 2025
Last year, REDEFINE 2024 saw 3,780 students across 1,260 teams from 18 institutes. SCMHRD Pune emerged as the winner, while IIM Tiruchirappalli was the runner-up.
