PFRDA Grade A Recruitment 2026

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has released the PFRDA Grade A Recruitment 2026 notification for the post of Officer Grade A Assistant Manager. The recruitment drive is being conducted for 30 posts in General, Research, Actuary and Official Language (Rajbhasha) streams.

According to the official notification, eligible candidates can submit the PFRDA Grade A application form 2026 from September 3 to September 24, 2026. The Phase I online examination will be conducted on October 15, while Phase II is scheduled for November 20, 2026.

PFRDA Grade A Vacancy 2026

PFRDA has announced a total of 30 vacancies across four streams. The General stream has the highest number of posts.

The General stream accepts candidates with qualifications such as a master's degree, bachelor's degree in law or engineering, or specified professional qualifications. Research, Actuary and Rajbhasha streams have separate educational requirements.

PFRDA Grade A Eligibility 2026

The eligibility criteria vary according to the selected stream. For the General stream, candidates can qualify through a master's degree or postgraduate diploma of at least two years, LLB, engineering degree or specified professional qualifications.

For the Research stream, candidates need a relevant master's degree or postgraduate diploma in areas such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and related subjects.

For the Actuary stream, candidates must have graduation along with a pass or exemption in all seven Core Principles subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India.

For the Official Language stream, candidates need the prescribed master's-level qualification in Hindi, Hindi Translation or other specified combinations involving Hindi and English.

PFRDA Grade A Age Limit 2026

Candidates must not have exceeded 30 years of age as on July 31, 2026. Therefore, candidates must have been born on or after August 1, 1996.

Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories as per the rules mentioned in the notification. SC and ST candidates get up to five years of relaxation, while eligible OBC candidates get up to three years. Additional relaxation is available for PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates under the prescribed conditions.

PFRDA Grade A Application Fee 2026

Candidates have to pay the application fee while submitting the online form. The fee is non-refundable.

Candidates applying for more than one eligible stream must submit separate applications and pay the applicable fee separately for each stream. A candidate can apply for a maximum of two streams.

PFRDA Grade A Exam Pattern 2026

The selection process consists of three stages: Phase I, Phase II and Interview.

Phase I will have two papers of 100 marks each. Paper 1 covers English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General Awareness, including financial-sector questions. Paper 2 tests stream-specific subjects. There is a one-fourth negative marking in both papers.

Phase II will also have two papers. Paper 1 is a descriptive English test, while Paper 2 covers the relevant stream. Phase II marks carry 85% weightage in final selection, while the interview carries 15% weightage.

PFRDA Grade A Salary 2026

Selected candidates will receive a Grade A pay scale starting at INR 62,500 per month, with the scale extending up to INR 1,26,100. PFRDA states that the present gross emoluments at the minimum of the scale are approximately INR 2,05,000 per month, including applicable allowances and PFRDA's NPS contribution.

Other benefits include medical expenses, leave fare concession, personal accident insurance, education allowance, housing-related benefits and other allowances applicable to Grade A officers.
