KCET 2026 Registration Deadline Extended – New Last Date Announced

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the last date to apply for KCET 2026 to 22 February 2026. The deadline to pay the application fee has also been pushed to 24 February 2026. The state-level exam will be held on 23–24 April 2026.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced a revision in the registration timeline for the KCET 2026 application process. Eligible candidates can now submit their forms online by 22 February 2026, with the application fee payment window extended to 24 February 2026 on the official portal.

 

Updated KCET 2026 Registration Dates and Fee Deadline

The revised schedule offers aspirants extra time to complete their registration for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026. Key dates now are:

Candidates who have already registered must ensure their application details are correct and pay the fee by the revised deadlines.

 

How to Complete KCET 2026 Registration?

Interested students should visit the official KCET portal – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea – to apply. The process includes:

  1. Filling in personal and academic information.
  2. Uploading required documents, including Class 10/SSLC marksheet, Aadhaar details, photo and signature in prescribed formats.
  3. Submitting the application and paying the applicable fee.
  4. Printing the confirmation page for records.

KEA has also provided a correction facility on the portal, allowing applicants to update errors in submitted forms within the registration window.

 

Application Fee Structure and Verification Progress

The application fee for KCET 2026 varies by category and domicile status. Only candidates who have paid the fee by 24 February will be considered for the exam. KEA reports that a significant number of applicants have already completed the payment and verification process.

 

Document verification, both at the college level and through Karnataka’s SATS system, is ongoing. This step is crucial to finalise eligibility for the entrance test.
