KCET 2026 Registration Closes Today, KEA Rules Out Further Extension

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will close the KCET 2026 registration window today, February 27, marking the final opportunity for candidates to apply for the state-level engineering entrance examination. KEA has clearly stated that no further extensions will be provided beyond the announced deadline. Candidates who have not yet completed their KCET 2026 application must submit the form online before 11:59 PM today. According to officials, around 3.15 lakh students have already registered for the exam.

 

KCET 2026 Important Dates

Below is the complete schedule for KCET 2026:

  • KCET 2026 Registration Last Date: February 27, 2026 (up to 11:59 PM)
  • Application Fee Payment Deadline: March 3, 2026 (up to 5:30 PM)
  • Correction Window: Open till March 30, 2026
  • KCET 2026 Exam Dates: April 23 and 24, 2026
  • Kannada Language Test: April 22, 2026

 

KCET 2026 Application Fee

The KCET 2026 application fee varies by category:

  • General category: INR 500
  • SC/ST/Category candidates of Karnataka: INR 250
  • Candidates outside Karnataka: INR 750

Candidates who have already applied will be allowed to make corrections in their application form until March 30, 2026 through the official portal.

 

KEA Issues Final Reminder

KEA has reiterated that February 27 is the final deadline for KCET 2026 registration and advised candidates to complete the application process well in advance to avoid last-minute technical glitches. The entrance exam will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority for admission to engineering and other professional courses across Karnataka.Applicants are strongly advised to rely only on official updates and complete all formalities within the stipulated timeline.
