New Delhi: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will close the application fee payment window for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 today. Candidates who have already completed the registration process must pay the application fee by the end of the day to confirm their application. The entrance examination is conducted for admission to undergraduate professional programmes such as engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, and veterinary sciences offered by colleges across the state.
KCET 2026 Fee payment only for registered candidates
KEA clarified that the payment facility is available only for candidates who had already submitted their application forms during the registration period. No new registrations are being accepted at this stage. Earlier, the authority had extended the deadline for fee payment to give candidates additional time to complete the process. However, officials have indicated that no further extension is expected. Applicants who fail to complete the payment within the deadline will not be considered registered and will not be allowed to appear for the entrance examination.
KCET 2026 Application correction window open till March 30
The authority has also opened the application correction facility for registered candidates.Through this facility, students can review and edit certain details in their submitted application forms, including personal and academic information. The correction window will remain open until March 30, 2026.
KCET 2026 exam schedule
According to the schedule announced by KEA, the KCET 2026 examination will be conducted in offline mode at multiple test centres across Karnataka.The Kannada language test will be held on April 22, while the main examination will take place on April 23 and April 24, 2026.The admit cards for the entrance exam are expected to be released in April ahead of the examination dates.
