Earlier, the fee payment deadline was scheduled to close on 3 March 2026. The extension has been provided considering ongoing festivals and board examinations to reduce stress among students.

KCET 2026 Application Correction Window
The Karnataka Examinations Authority has also kept the application correction facility open for registered candidates. This allows applicants to modify certain details in their submitted application forms. Candidates can edit their applications until 30 March 2026 through the official portal. The correction facility allows candidates to update the following details:
- Personal information
- Academic details
- Course selection
To access the correction window, candidates must log in to the portal using their User ID and password and select the application correction link.
KCET 2026 Exam Dates and Schedule
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test will be conducted over multiple days for different subjects. Candidates appearing for the examination should note the official schedule carefully. The exam timetable is provided below:

- 23 April 2026: Physics and Chemistry
- 24 April 2026: Mathematics and Biology
