KCET 2026 Exam Today for Physics, Chemistry; Check Timings

KCET 2026 Exam is being conducted today for Physics and Chemistry. The Karnataka Examinations Authority has begun the entrance test on April 23, 2026 at 10:30 AM. The exam will be conducted across multiple centres with strict instructions for candidates. Around 3.3 lakh students are expected to appear.

 

KCET 2026 Exam Dates and Schedule for Physics and Chemistry

Candidates must carefully follow the shift-wise timing schedule. Each paper is conducted separately with strict entry deadlines.

Candidates must be seated by 10:20 AM (morning) and 02:20 PM (afternoon) for verification and OMR sheet distribution. Entry will not be allowed after the exam begins.

 

KCET 2026 Reporting Time and Documents Required

Candidates must reach the exam centre well in advance to complete verification procedures. Proper documentation is mandatory for entry.

  • Report at least 45–60 minutes before exam time
  • Carry KCET 2026 admit card
  • Bring valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar, voter ID, driving licence)
  • Carry a passport-size photograph (same as application form)

Failure to produce required documents may lead to disqualification.

 

KCET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines and Restrictions

KEA has issued strict instructions to maintain fairness and discipline at exam centres. Candidates must follow all rules carefully.

  • Do not carry mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, or calculators
  • Avoid bringing unnecessary items to the exam centre
  • Follow all instructions given by invigilators

Candidates will not be permitted entry after the final bell.

 

KCET 2026 Dress Code Guidelines for Candidates

Candidates must follow a simple and prescribed dress code to ensure smooth security checks. Non-compliance may lead to delays or denial of entry.

  • Wear light, simple clothing
  • Prefer half-sleeve shirts or T-shirts and simple trousers or salwar-kameez
  • Wear slippers or thin-soled sandals

Avoid:

  • Heavy jewellery and accessories
  • Thick-soled shoes or boots
  • Clothes with metal buttons, zippers, or heavy embroidery
  • Belts with large metal buckles, caps, and sunglasses

Candidates wearing religious attire must report by 8:30 AM or 12:30 PM for additional security checks.
