The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the application fee payment deadline for KCET 2026 to 7 March 2026, giving candidates more time after the initial deadline. Candidates who have already submitted the form but not paid the fee can now complete payment, while the application correction window is open until 30 March 2026 ahead of exams scheduled in April.

KCET 2026 Application Fee Deadline Extended to 7 March 2026

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has revised the fee payment timeline for the KCET 2026 engineering entrance exam. Candidates who registered by the closing date but had not yet completed the fee payment can now settle the application fee by 7 March 2026.

KCET 2026 Revised Fee Payment Window and Details

The extension applies only to those who have already filled and submitted the KCET 2026 application form by the registration deadline. These candidates can complete their fee payments by 7 March 2026, beyond the earlier deadline in early March. In addition to the extended fee payment date, the application correction window remains active until 30 March 2026, allowing applicants to update certain details in their submitted forms. This correction facility lets candidates edit elements such as personal information, academic data, and course preferences by logging in with their credentials.

KCET 2026 Exam Schedule

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 is slated to be conducted in April 2026 as follows:

  • The Kannada Language Test is scheduled on 22 April 2026.
  • Main exam papers for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology are planned on 23 and 24 April 2026.

These dates provide students with ample time to complete the application process, pay fees, make corrections, and prepare for the exams.

Importance of Fee Payment and Corrections

Timely payment of the KCET application fee is crucial for finalising candidature and generating admit cards. Additionally, the correction window helps applicants address any inadvertent errors in their forms ahead of exam processing. Students are advised to use the extended fee payment window and the correction facility wisely to ensure their KCET 2026 application is complete and accurate.
