JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Correction Window Opens

JEE Main Session 2 Exam 2026 application form correction window has been opened by the National Testing Agency on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who have already registered can log in and edit permitted details in their application forms within the specified timeline. The correction facility will remain active till 28 February 2026.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Correction Window Dates and Exam Schedule

The correction window for JEE Main Session 2 has been made available for a limited period, and no changes will be allowed after it closes. Candidates are advised to carefully review all details before final submission. The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination is scheduled to be conducted between 2 April 2026 and 9 April 2026. The exact subject-wise and shift-wise exam dates will be announced separately by the agency.

How to Edit JEE Main Session 2 Application Form 2026?

Candidates must complete the correction process online through the official portal. Before beginning, applicants should keep their login credentials ready to avoid errors. The steps to edit the JEE Main Session 2 application form are outlined below.

  • Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the JEE Main 2026 Form Correction link
  • Log in using the application number and password
  • Review the application form carefully
  • Make the required changes in permitted fields
  • Submit and save the corrected form for future reference

Once submitted, the modified details will be treated as final.

Editable and Non-Editable Fields in JEE Main 2026 Form

During the correction window, only specific fields can be modified. Candidates should understand these limitations before attempting changes. Editable fields include personal details such as name, date of birth, parents’ names, category or PwD status, medium of examination, academic information related to Class 12, exam city preferences, and uploaded documents. However, mobile number, email ID, permanent and present address, emergency contact details, and photograph cannot be changed under any circumstances.

What Happens After the Correction Window Closes?

After 28 February 2026, no further edits will be allowed in the JEE Main Session 2 application form. The final submitted details will be used for exam city allocation, admit card generation, counselling, and admission processes. Following this, the exam city intimation slip is expected to be released in the first week of April 2026, informing candidates about their allotted exam centres. The JEE Main admit card 2026 will be issued later, carrying details such as exam date, shift timing, centre address, and important instructions. Candidates are advised to regularly monitor the official website for upcoming notifications related to admit cards, exam conduct, and result declarations.
