JEE Main 2026 April 6 Shift 2 exam has started at 3 PM and will end at 6 PM. Shift 1 was reported as moderate to tough and lengthy by candidates.

The JEE Main 2026 April 6 exam is being conducted today as part of Session 2. The Shift 2 exam has started at 3:00 PM and will continue till 6:00 PM in computer-based mode. Earlier, the Shift 1 exam concluded at 12 noon, with students reporting a moderate to tough paper.

 

JEE Main 2026 April 6 Shift 2 Exam Timings

The afternoon session is being conducted as per the official schedule.

  • Exam Time: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Reporting Time: 1:00 PM onwards
  • Gate Closing Time: 2:30 PM sharp

Candidates were not allowed to enter the exam centre after gate closure.

 

JEE Main 2026 April 6 Shift 1 Analysis: Toughest Shift So Far?

What to Carry for JEE Main April 6 Shift 2 Exam?

Candidates appearing in Shift 2 were required to carry:

  • Admit Card with self-declaration filled
  • Valid photo ID proof
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • Transparent ballpoint pen

PwD candidates requiring a scribe had to carry relevant documents.
