The CBSE Class 12 examinations 2026 scheduled for February 19 have been successfully concluded. Students appeared for subjects including Engineering Graphics, Indian classical dance forms, Horticulture and Cost Accounting, with most candidates terming the papers moderate and balanced.

New Delhi:The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully concluded the Class 12 board examinations scheduled for February 19, 2026. The exams were conducted smoothly across centres nationwide in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

 

Subjects Conducted on February 19

CBSE held examinations today for the following Class 12 subjects:

  • Engineering Graphics
  • Bharatanatyam – Dance
  • Kuchipudi – Dance
  • Odissi – Dance
  • Manipuri – Dance
  • Kathakali – Dance
  • Horticulture
  • Cost Accounting

Meanwhile, the board confirmed that no Class 10 examination was scheduled for today.

 

CBSE Class 12 Exam Analysis 2026 (Feb 19)

According to initial feedback:

  • Most question papers were reported to be moderate in difficulty
  • Questions followed the latest CBSE syllabus and pattern
  • Competency-based questions tested conceptual clarity
  • Students found the papers well-balanced, with sufficient internal choices

Teachers stated that the papers were student-friendly and aligned with the board’s learning outcome-based approach.

Many students expressed relief after completing their exams, stating that the papers were straightforward and manageable with proper preparation.Teachers also noted that the questions encouraged analytical thinking rather than rote learning, reflecting CBSE’s academic reforms for 2026.

 

Exam Day Guidelines Followed

CBSE strictly implemented exam protocols:

  • Students were required to carry their admit card
  • A government-issued photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN or Voter ID was mandatory
  • Electronic gadgets were prohibited inside exam halls
  • Entry without valid documents was not permitted

As per official data:

  • Over 43 lakh students registered for CBSE board exams 2026
  • Class 10: 25,08,319 students
  • Class 12: 18,59,551 students
