With 95 days to go for BITSAT 2026 Session 1 (April 15–17), candidates should prioritise revision, practice tests, speed and consistency for best performance.
With the BITSAT 2026 Session 1 exam around the corner, scheduled from 15–17 April 2026, aspirants now have only 95 days left to refine their preparation and boost performance. Experts recommend that candidates focus on a strategy built around comprehensive revision, consistent practice, and mock-test analysis to maximise their scores. Organised by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, the exam is conducted in two sessions, and students can choose to appear in one or both for better placement chances. The registration for Session 1 or both sessions is open until 16 March 2026.

Preparation Focus for the Next 95 Days
With little time left, a disciplined study plan is essential. Education experts highlight the three pillars of success: revision, practice, and consistency.
Revision of Key Concepts
During this phase, students should revisit core concepts across subjects:
- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or Biology) fundamentals
- Regularly update and revisit quick-revision notes
- Focus on areas with frequent question patterns
This reaffirms conceptual clarity and builds confidence ahead of the exams.
Regular Mock Tests with Analysis
Mock tests are crucial for simulating the actual test environment and improving both speed and accuracy. Candidates should:
- Attempt full-length mock tests weekly or more often
- Spend significant time analysing mock performance
- Identify and work on weak areas after each test
This strategy helps build endurance and reduces exam-day errors.
Speed & Accuracy Enhancement
The BITSAT pattern demands quick problem-solving: 130 questions in 3 hours across multiple sections. Therefore:
- Track time spent per question
- Practice sectional tests to improve pace
- Avoid excessive time on tough questions and revisit later
Effective time allocation and question selection can significantly impact the final score.
Points to Remember During Final Preparation
- Avoid studying too many new resources-stick to a single solid material for consistency.
- Maintain physical and mental health to sustain long prep hours.
- Practice English proficiency and logical reasoning, sections that often distinguish top scorers.
Following a disciplined, data-driven approach for the remaining 95 days can make a significant difference in performance for BITSAT aspirants, especially for competitive engineering seats at BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses.
