AUD Admissions 2026: 5 New Courses, One-Year PG Introduced

Ambedkar University Delhi has introduced 5 new courses and one-year PG programmes for the 2026–27 session. Admissions will be conducted through CUET UG, CUET PG, and NCET for over 3,000 seats.
Dr BR Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has announced the introduction of five new courses along with one-year postgraduate programmes for the 2026–27 academic session. The move marks a significant expansion in the university’s academic offerings.
Ambedkar University Delhi New Courses 2026 and Programme Expansion
The university will introduce a mix of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes designed to meet evolving academic and industry demands. Officials confirmed the additions during a press conference held at the Kashmere Gate campus. Among the key programmes being introduced are:
- MA in Creative Writing
- MA in Performing Arts (Theatre Arts)
- BA in Museology, Culture and Heritage Management
The undergraduate programme in Museology, Culture and Heritage Management is considered among the first of its kind at the university level in India.
One-Year PG Programmes Under PG Curriculum Framework 2026
AUD will also implement one-year postgraduate programmes in seven disciplines under the Post Graduate Curriculum Framework (PGCF). These programmes are aimed at offering flexible academic pathways and aligning postgraduate education with national curriculum reforms. The initiative is expected to benefit students seeking shorter-duration specialised courses.
AUD Admission 2026 Process Through CUET UG, PG and NCET
Admissions for the 2026–27 academic session will be conducted through national-level entrance examinations. Candidates must apply through the official university admission portal. The admission channels are listed below:
- CUET UG for undergraduate programmes
- CUET PG for postgraduate programmes
- NCET for specific courses
Applicants are required to complete the application process within the stipulated timeline as announced by the respective exam authorities.

AUD Seat Intake and Courses Offered 2026–27
The university will offer over 3,000 seats across multiple programmes in the upcoming academic session. These seats will be distributed across:
- Undergraduate programmes

- Doctoral programmes
In total, 78 programmes will be available for admission, reflecting the institution’s expanded academic portfolio.
