BCECEB extended the Bihar NEET UG 2026 stray vacancy counselling schedule after candidates reported server and technical issues. Registration closes on October 24 at 10 PM, while application payment and consent submission close at 11:59 PM. Choice filling and locking remain open until October 25 at 11:59 PM.
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has extended the registration and choice-filling deadlines for Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026 stray vacancy round. The revised schedule was issued on October 22 after candidates reported server and technical issues that prevented them from submitting their consent and college preferences. Eligible NEET UG 2026 qualifiers can now complete the required steps by October 24, 2026.
The extension applies to the Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026 stray vacancy round for MBBS, BDS and other courses covered by the official notice. Candidates should complete their pending application, payment, consent or choice-locking steps within the revised deadlines.
Bihar NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2026: Revised Dates
BCECEB has issued the revised schedule through its official notice, Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/16, dated October 22, 2026.
Note: The revised deadlines are based on BCECEB's official extension notice. Candidates should check the portal for any subsequent changes.
Why Did BCECEB Extend the Deadline?
According to the official notice, some candidates reported server and technical problems that prevented them from submitting their consent and college choices within the original schedule. The board extended the online counselling programme to give eligible candidates additional time to complete these steps.
The extension covers registration, application submission, payment, editing and consent for the stray vacancy round. Candidates who have already registered should check whether they still need to submit consent or lock their choices.
How to Complete Bihar NEET UG Stray Vacancy Counselling 2026
Eligible candidates should visit the official BCECEB website at https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/ and open the UGMAC-2026 section.
They should complete any pending registration, application and payment steps before the applicable deadline. Previously registered candidates who need to provide consent for the stray vacancy round should also complete that step by October 24 at 11:59 PM.
Candidates must submit and lock their college preferences by October 25 at 11:59 PM. They should review their choices carefully and retain the application and payment confirmation for reference.
What Happens After Choice Filling?
BCECEB has scheduled the stray vacancy provisional seat allotment result for October 27, 2026. Candidates will be able to download provisional allotment orders from October 27 to 29.
The scheduled document verification and admission period is October 28 to 29. Candidates allotted seats should prepare the documents required by the board and follow the instructions in their allotment orders.
