The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026 result is expected to be released between 17–20 January 2026 on the official portal. Candidates can download their scorecards online and check expected sectional and overall cut‑offs for shortlisting to MBA/PGDM admissions.

XAT 2026 Result Date, Scorecard & Sectional Cut‑Off Updates

The XAT 2026 result for the MBA entrance exam conducted on 4 January 2026 is anticipated to be declared between 17 and 20 January 2026 on the official website xatonline.in. Aspirants who appeared in the exam will need their login credentials to download the scorecard and check sectional performance once the link goes live.

XAT 2026 Result & Scorecard Download Process

Once officially released, candidates must follow these steps to view and download their XAT 2026 scorecard:

  1. Visit the official XAT portal: xatonline.in.
  2. Navigate to the result/scorecard section.
  3. Enter your XAT ID and password/date of birth.
  4. Verify and download the XAT scorecard PDF.
  5. Save or print a copy for future admission use.

The scorecard will display sectional scores, percentiles and overall performance, which are crucial for shortlisting and eligibility for further rounds like Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and essays conducted by participating institutes.

Expected Sectional & Overall Cut‑Off Trends

While official cut‑offs will be released after the result, MBA admission experts and news trackers suggest that institutes typically set both sectional and overall percentile thresholds for shortlisting candidates:

  • Sectional cut‑offs (e.g., Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Decision Making) are used to screen applicants for interviews.
  • Overall percentile cut‑offs determine eligibility for top B‑schools.

Expected cut‑off patterns from past XAT trends indicate that reputed institutes may require higher percentiles (e.g., 90 %ile and above) for overall selection, with sectional percentiles often varying by programme and category.

What’s Next After the XAT Result?

After the result is declared and scorecards are available:

  • Candidates should check score details carefully.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to GD/PI and written ability rounds by participating institutes like XLRI Jamshedpur, SPJIMR Mumbai, XIM University, MICA Ahmedabad and others.
  • Institutes will release separate cut‑offs and selection criteria based on their programme requirements.

Aspirants are advised to frequently check xatonline.in for the official result announcement, scorecard link and cut‑off notifications as the expected release dates approach.
