UPSC has extended the operational hours of its call centre to support candidates applying for CSE 2026 and IFoS 2026. The facility will function daily in extended shifts to ensure smoother query resolution during the application phase.
UPSC has extended the operational hours of its call centre to strengthen support for candidates applying for Civil Services Examination 2026 and Indian Forest Service Examination 2026. The move aims to improve accessibility and ensure timely assistance during the ongoing application process.
UPSC Call Centre Timings During CSE, IFoS 2026 Application Phase
The Commission has announced that the call centre will remain operational on all days, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, until the application submission window closes. This step is intended to support aspirants facing technical or procedural issues. The call centre will function in two shifts from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, allowing candidates to seek guidance beyond standard office hours. Extended timings are expected to ease pressure during peak application periods.
Increased Call Centre Capacity to Reduce Waiting Time
To further improve candidate experience, UPSC has doubled the strength of the call centre staff. This enhancement is aimed at significantly reducing waiting time for aspirants seeking clarification related to application forms, examination procedures, or other examination-related queries. Candidates can approach the call centre for assistance on registration issues, form submission, eligibility-related doubts, and other procedural concerns during the extended working hours.
UPSC Emphasises Candidate-Centric Examination Support
Highlighting the Commission’s focus on candidate facilitation, UPSC Chairman Ajay Kumar stated that the extended call centre operations form part of a broader set of measures introduced to support aspirants effectively. These initiatives are designed to ensure that all necessary support mechanisms remain accessible throughout critical examination stages. The Commission noted that strengthening communication channels with applicants will help ensure quicker resolution of queries and uninterrupted guidance during the examination cycle.
Focus on Efficient and Responsive Examination System
The extended call centre operations reflect UPSC’s continued efforts to build an efficient, responsive, and student-centric examination system. By enhancing accessibility and responsiveness, the Commission aims to minimise applicant inconvenience and ensure a smoother experience during the CSE 2026 and IFoS 2026 application process.Aspirants are advised to utilise the extended call centre facility for timely assistance and clarification related to their examination applications
