UPSC CSE 2025 Topper Marks Out as the Union Public Service Commission released the marks of candidates who cleared the Civil Services Examination 2025. The marks include the written (Mains) examination and the Personality Test scores.
Anuj Agnihotri secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 with a total of 1,071 marks, which is 52.88% of the total marks. He scored 867 marks in the written examination and 204 marks in the Personality Test.
The Civil Services Examination is conducted to recruit candidates for services such as Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and other central services.

Rajeshwari Suve M, who secured AIR 2, scored 1,067 marks (52.69%). She obtained 865 marks in the written examination and 202 marks in the interview.
Rajeshwari is currently serving as a trainee Deputy Collector in Dindigul district after clearing the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group I examination. She cleared the Civil Services Examination in her fifth attempt. The 28-year-old engineering graduate from Anna University, Chennai, had Sociology as her optional subject.
UPSC CSE 2025 Result and Selection Data
The Union Public Service Commission had earlier declared the UPSC CSE 2025 final result, recommending 958 candidates for appointment to various civil services. The selected candidates include:
- 659 men
- 299 women
These candidates will be appointed to Group 'A' and Group 'B' central services, including IAS, IPS, and IFS.
UPSC CSE 2025 Exam Process and Statistics
The Civil Services Examination is conducted in three stages – Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and Personality Test. The final merit list is prepared out of 2,025 total marks, which includes:
- 1,750 marks for the written (Mains) examination
- 275 marks for the Personality Test
UPSC also shared detailed statistics about the examination process.
- 9,37,876 candidates registered for the preliminary examination.
- 5,76,793 candidates appeared for the exam.
- 14,161 candidates qualified for the Mains examination conducted in August 2025.
- 2,736 candidates were shortlisted for the Personality Test (Interview).
The release of topper marks allows aspirants to understand the score distribution and performance level required to secure top ranks in the Civil Services Examination.
