UP Scholarship 2025-26 correction window has closed, and the process has moved to the physical verification stage. Students who edited their forms must submit a printed copy of the corrected application to their institutions by 18 February 2026. Without hard copy submission, the application will not proceed further. No extension has been announced for this deadline.
UP Scholarship 2025-26 Important Dates After Correction Window
After the closure of the online correction facility on 13 February 2026, the focus has shifted to institutional verification and re-scrutiny. Students must follow the remaining schedule carefully.
- Last date to submit corrected form to institution: 18 February 2026
- Re-scrutiny by NIC: 19 February to 27 February 2026
- Data locking by District Committee: 10 March 2026
- Scholarship amount transfer (DBT): 18 March 2026
Once the district committee locks the data, no further changes will be allowed.
Why Printed Submission Is Mandatory for Scholarship Approval?
Although corrections were made online through the official portal scholarship.up.gov.in, institutions require physical verification of documents. Colleges must match corrected details with supporting certificates before forwarding them for higher-level scrutiny.
If the printed corrected form is not submitted, the system will treat the application as incomplete. This may lead to rejection during the verification stage. Students who corrected income certificate details, bank information, Aadhaar number, enrollment number, or personal data must ensure that photocopies match the updated entries exactly.
Bank Account and Aadhaar Link Verification
Under the Direct Benefit Transfer system, scholarship funds are transferred to Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts. If Aadhaar is not properly linked through NPCI mapping, payment may fail even after approval. Students are advised to verify that their bank account is correctly linked with Aadhaar before 18 March 2026, the tentative date for fund transfer.
What Students Should Do Before 18 February 2026?
Students who made corrections should complete the following steps immediately:
- Print the corrected application form from the portal
- Attach updated and matching supporting documents
- Submit the hard copy to the respective school or college office
- Request acknowledgement or confirmation of submission, if available
If the portal still displays old error messages, students should wait until the re-scrutiny process begins on 19 February 2026, when updated records are expected to reflect online.
The UP Scholarship 2025-26 scheme supports lakhs of students across categories including SC, ST, OBC, Minority and General. For many families, timely submission and verification determine whether financial assistance reaches their accounts. Missing the 18 February 2026 deadline may result in the application being excluded from further processing.
