KCET 2026 registration deadline has been extended by the Karnataka Examinations Authority. Eligible candidates can now apply online till 22 February 2026 through the official website. The fee payment facility will remain open till 24 February 2026.
KCET 2026 Application Form and Correction Facility
Candidates must submit their applications on the official portal cetonline.karnataka.gov.in within the revised timeline. Those who have already registered will be allowed to make corrections through the online application edit window.
KEA has confirmed that applicants can log in to the portal and update errors in their submitted forms. This correction facility aims to ensure accuracy in candidate details before the release of admit cards.
KCET 2026 Revised Exam Date, Admit Card and Result
The Authority has revised the KCET 2026 examination schedule. Engineering and pharmacy entrance exams will now be conducted on 25 May 2026 and 26 May 2026, instead of the earlier dates in April. The language paper earlier scheduled for 22 April 2026 has not yet been assigned a new date. The revised timeline provides clarity regarding admit card and result announcements.

The examination will be held in two shifts each day. The morning session will run from 10:30 am to 11:50 am, while the afternoon session will take place from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.
KCET 2026 Application Fee and Required Documents
Before filling out the application form, candidates are required to keep necessary documents ready. The following documents are mandatory for registration:
- SSLC or Class 10 mark sheet
- Aadhaar Card
- Valid mobile number with WhatsApp
- Active email address
- Scanned photograph and signature in prescribed format
The KCET 2026 application fee structure is as follows:
- INR 500 for General category candidates
- INR 250 for SC and ST candidates
- INR 750 for candidates outside Karnataka
- INR 5,000 for candidates from abroad
KCET 2026 Registration and Verification Updates
As per KEA, around 2.5 lakh candidates have completed the fee payment process so far. Document verification has been finalised for 35,000 candidates at the college level. Additionally, approximately 1.8 lakh candidates have completed online document verification through the SATS system.
KCET is conducted annually by KEA for admission to engineering, architecture, medical, and pharmacy programmes across Karnataka. The entrance test plays a key role in undergraduate admission to state institutions.
