Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has addressed students appearing in the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations, urging them to remain safe, healthy, and academically focused. The Chief Minister shared his guidance through a letter aimed at supporting students during the crucial examination period.
Safety Advisory for Students Before Board Exams
In his first message, the Chief Minister cautioned students against the use of Chinese manjha, a sharp-edged string that has been banned across Uttar Pradesh due to safety concerns. He highlighted that the material has caused serious injuries and fatalities in the past. Students were advised to avoid its use completely, caution their peers, and report any illegal sale or use of the banned string to authorities with the support of their families.
Health and Mobile Usage Guidance for Students
Addressing student health, CM Yogi warned against excessive mobile phone usage, especially addiction to online gaming and prolonged video consumption. He noted that overuse of digital devices leads to loss of study time, reduced concentration, and eye-related problems. Students were encouraged to maintain balanced daily routines by reading books, engaging in sports, spending time with family, and limiting screen time to ensure mental and physical well-being.
Exam Preparation Advice for Class 10 and 12 Students
For students appearing in board examinations, the Chief Minister emphasised the importance of discipline, confidence, and focus. Quoting the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, he reminded students that individuals have control over their efforts, not outcomes, and should therefore prioritise sincere preparation and dedication. CM Yogi extended his best wishes to all examinees and expressed confidence that their hard work would bring success and make their families and the state proud.
Context: National-Level Student Interaction Initiatives
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also interacted with students during the 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, where he encouraged learners to dream big while backing aspirations with consistent effort. He highlighted the value of reading biographies and understanding the journeys of successful individuals to stay motivated and focused. Students are advised to follow official guidance, maintain healthy routines, and stay positive as the board examination season approaches.
