The Staff Selection Commission is expected to release the SSC MTS 2026 CBT result by March 2026 on its official website. Candidates will be able to download the result PDF and check shortlisted roll numbers for next stages of selection
The SSC MTS 2026 result for the Computer Based Test (CBT) is anticipated to be announced by March 2026 on the official SSC portal (ssc.gov.in). Aspirants who appeared in the CBT, conducted from 4–19 February 2026 for Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and Havaldar posts, are awaiting the PDF result that will list qualifying candidates.
When Will the SSC MTS 2026 Result Be Out?
The result PDF containing the names and roll numbers of candidates who have passed the CBT stage is expected by March 2026. This document will be available for download on the Staff Selection Commission’s official results section. Once released, candidates should look for:
- PDF result link for SSC MTS 2026
- Category-wise cut-off marks
- List of shortlisted roll numbers
These details will help candidates confirm their qualification and next steps in the selection process.
Selection Process After CBT
For the MTS (Non-Technical) posts, candidates who qualify the CBT will be shortlisted for document verification based on merit and available vacancies. For Havaldar posts, those shortlisted after the CBT will need to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) ahead of final selection.
Cut-Off and Qualifying Marks
Alongside the result PDF, SSC will publish cut-off marks category-wise. Generally, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifying marks in the CBT:
- General: 30 percent
- OBC/EWS: 25 percent
- Other categories: 20 percent
Meeting the minimum qualifying marks does not guarantee selection but determines eligibility to be placed in the merit list.
How to Check SSC MTS 2026 Result?
Once SSC publishes the result, candidates can follow these steps:
- Visit ssc.gov.in.
- Navigate to the “Results” section.
- Look for the SSC MTS 2026 Result PDF link.
- Download and open the PDF.
- Search your roll number to check qualification status.
Downloading the result PDF and verifying roll numbers early helps candidates stay prepared for the next phase.
Important Nextstages After Result Declaration
After the result is released:
- MTS candidates will proceed to document verification based on vacancies and merit.
- Havaldar aspirants will be called for PET/PST tests following CBT qualifications.
Final appointment will depend on performance across all required stages as per commission guidelines.
