SSC MTS 2026 Shift 1 Cancelled at Select Centres; Revised Date Soon as the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has called off the Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and Havaldar examination conducted in Shift 1 on 11 February 2026 at certain venues. The cancellation applies only to specific centres and not the entire examination nationwide. The commission stated that the decision was taken due to technical and administrative issues reported at select locations. Fresh dates for the affected candidates will be notified soon on the official website.
SSC MTS 2026 Cancellation: Regions Affected
The affected examination centres fall under the following SSC regional offices:
- Karnataka–Kerala Region (KKR)
- Central Region (CR)
- Eastern Region (ER)
The commission clarified that only Shift 1 at identified venues has been cancelled. Candidates who appeared at other centres or in other shifts are not impacted by this decision.
Reason for SSC MTS Shift 1 Cancellation
According to the official update, technical and administrative disruptions were reported during the examination process. To maintain fairness and transparency in the recruitment process, SSC decided to cancel the examination at the affected centres.
