The first session of SNAP 2025 Test 1 was conducted on December 6, 2025 across test centres nationwide under Symbiosis International University (SIU). As per early feedback, the paper turned out to be moderate overall, with the Quantitative Aptitude section being the toughest among the three. Students and experts both agree — time management and accuracy, especially in Quant, will be critical for a good score. Slots for Test 1 were held in two shifts: 2:30 PM–3:30 PM (Slot 1) and 4:30 PM–5:30 PM (Slot 2).
SNAP 2025 Test Pattern & Sections
The SNAP 2025 Test follows a rapid, 60-minute Computer Based Test (CBT) format — 60 questions, each carrying 1 mark, across three sections:
- General English (VARC) — 15 questions
- Analytical & Logical Reasoning (A-LR) — 25 questions
- Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency — 20 questions
Total marks are 60. Negative marking is applicable: 0.25 marks deduction for each wrong answer.
Test 1 Slot 1: What Candidates Reported
According to memory-based student responses and expert analysis:
- General English was mostly vocabulary-based — synonyms, idioms, simple grammar, fill-in-the-blanks; rated easy to moderate.
- Logical Reasoning included syllogisms, seating arrangements, coding, puzzles — moderate difficulty.
- Quantitative Aptitude was moderate to difficult, with arithmetic, algebra, geometry, DI problems; time-consuming and tricky for many.
Candidates who manage around 40–43 correct answers (with few slips) are viewed as having a safe raw score for shortlist — factoring in time constraint and negative marking.
Expected Cut-Off & What to Expect Next
Based on Test 1’s difficulty and historical trends:
SNAP 2025 Test 1 scorecards are expected to be released after all slots conclude — typically a few days later. After scores are out, institutes will invite qualified candidates for Group Exercise (GE) / Personal Interaction (PI) rounds for final admission shortlists.
