RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026: Apply for 590 Posts

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 notification under CEN 05/2026. The recruitment drive is for 590 paramedical vacancies across nine categories, including Nursing Superintendent, Pharmacist, Dialysis Technician and Radiographer.

The RRB Paramedical application process has started on 15 September 2026. Eligible applicants can submit the online form until 14 October 2026 at 11:59 PM. The selection process will include a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Document Verification and Medical Examination.

RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 Key Details

The notification covers vacancies across multiple RRB zones. Nursing Superintendent accounts for the largest share of posts, with 365 vacancies.

The application window is open for one month. Applicants should check the post-wise qualification and age requirements before selecting a post and RRB. The chosen RRB cannot be changed after submission.

RRB Paramedical Vacancy 2026

A total of 590 vacancies have been announced for nine paramedical categories. Nursing Superintendent has the highest number of posts, followed by Pharmacist (Entry Grade).

RRB Kolkata has the highest zone-wise vacancy count with 98 posts, followed by RRB Secunderabad with 71 and RRB Chennai with 65 vacancies.

RRB Paramedical Eligibility 2026

The educational qualification depends on the post. Applicants must possess the prescribed qualification by 14 October 2026. Those waiting for the final result of their qualifying examination are not eligible.

Age limits vary by post. For example, the Nursing Superintendent age limit is 20 to 40 years, while the Pharmacist age limit is 20 to 35 years. Other posts generally have different age bands between 18 and 35 years.

RRB Paramedical Application Fee 2026

The application fee can be paid through online modes such as UPI, net banking and debit cards.

The applicable refund is processed after appearing in the first-stage CBT, after deduction of applicable bank charges.

RRB Paramedical Selection Process 2026

The recruitment process consists of three major stages:

• Computer-Based Test
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

The CBT will contain 100 objective questions for 100 marks. Professional Ability carries 70 marks, while General Awareness, General Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Science carry 10 marks each. There will be 1/3 mark negative marking for every incorrect answer.
