The school students must bring specific identity proofs along with them to pass the security counter at the main gate of the test centre. The security officers will not allow any candidate to enter the test hall if they forget to bring these original identification papers. Candidates must prepare a small folder containing all the necessary items listed below before leaving their homes:

- One clear passport size photograph that matches the photo on the original application form.
- One large postcard size photograph pasted neatly on the designated space of the document.
- An original and valid school or government photo identity card like Aadhaar card, voter card, or passport.

Re NEET Exam Day Guidelines 2026
The NTA has made very strict security rules this year to stop cheating and to keep the test process completely fair for everyone. The question papers will travel through special transport systems under heavy security forces for the first time. Students must follow the official NEET Exam Day Guidelines 2026 strictly to avoid any problems during the entrance test:
- The grand medical test will run for 3 hours and 15 minutes in total time duration.
- The test timing will start exactly at 2:00 PM in the afternoon and will end at 5:15 PM lines.
- The entry doors of the test centres will open for students at 11:00 AM in the morning.
- The main entrance gates will close at 1:30 PM, and late students cannot enter after this time.
- Students must not sign their hall tickets at home because they have to sign it only in front of the classroom teacher.
- Do not bring electronic items, mobile phones, smartwatches, or pieces of paper inside the test room.
- Every candidate must drop their used hall ticket paper inside the collection box before leaving the room at 5:15 PM.
